The essential checklist
- Drinking water for the full time ashore
- Food or snacks, even if you hope to eat at El Puertito
- High-protection sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
- Secure walking shoes or sandals with grip
- Swimwear, towel and a light layer for wind or spray
- Phone with offline booking voucher and enough battery
- Small rubbish bag so everything leaves the island with you
Documents and booking details
Keep the ferry QR code available without a data connection and carry any identification named in the booking conditions. Check whether the visitor authorisation is bundled with the ticket or must be requested separately. Save the operator name, outbound time and return instructions; the Corralejo port guide explains why the company name matters.
Food, water and facilities
Ferry Isla de Lobos states that the island has one restaurant and recommends bringing food and drink because reservations are not available. Treat the restaurant as an option, not the foundation of the day. There is no dependable place to buy forgotten sun cream, water or footwear once you have landed.
Adjust the bag to your plan
Mostly beach
Add a dry pouch, reef-safe sunscreen and footwear for volcanic rock. Read the beaches and snorkeling guide before choosing equipment.
Mostly walking
Prioritise water, hat and proper shoes. The official circuit is 7.4 km; see what to see on Lobos before deciding how much to carry.
With children
Reduce the route, bring extra water and snacks, and keep the return buffer generous. Shade and services are limited, so the adult plan should not assume they can be found on demand.
